Walk On have available for self drive hire a beautiful 3.5T stallion box. This box is high spec featuring 2 long stalls with no breast bars which is the safest way to travel your horse, full height, movable partition, electric fan in the horse area, travel lights, horse area camera & reverse camera, a large grooms area with 2 x saddle racks & storage, 8ft internal height for larger horses (payload dependant), low easy lift ramp, emergency exit, cruise control & bluetooth.

Available for any driver over the age of 23 -75. T&C apply.

Collection from Golcar HD7.  We are based just off junction 23 of the M62.

Self Drive Hire Prices:

• Full Day – Saturday or Sunday – £110

• Full Day – Monday to Friday – £95

• Full Day – Bank Holidays – £110

• 6 hour Hire – Monday to Friday – £85

• Full Weekend Hire – collection Friday Evening, return Sunday evening by 6pm – £200

A security deposit of £200 will be taken upon arrival to collect the box and refunded upon the satisfactory return of our horsebox.​

• All full day hires include 200 miles (option to increase), breakdown cover with equine rescue and insurance for one person

What do I need to do to book?

​

To hire our self drive we will need from you:

​

1. Self Drive Horsebox Insurance Questionnaire (you will need to print this off)

2. Terms & Conditions self drive hire form (This can be completed electronically at the time of booking) 

3. You will need to bring your driving licence & 1 other form of photo ID (such as passport)

4. 2 x recent utility bills with your current address (no older than 90 days)

5. On collection of the horsebox we will walk you around, you can do a walk around video or take photos of the box before you take it

 6. A £200 security deposit & the payment for the hire will be taken via bank transfer only. The deposit will be returned via bank transfer on the safe, damage free return of the horsebox.
