When it comes to building horseboxes, we take pride in knowing our boxes are built with safety as our top priority & only use premium materials.

What are our boxes made of?

Walk On Horseboxes are all built with the following:

Triple reinforced bulkhead which is built up of the original steel bulkhead of the van with an additional steel frame welded behind, 17mm dry freight GRP panel, 1.6mm steel joined seamlessly into the horsebox side panel ensuring no weak spots. Finished with EVA kick mats which is what is seen on the internal horse area walls once competed

Horsebox sides are a composite panel with an aluminium safety bar running around the perimeter of the horse area, along with a steel frame on the lower half, followed by a steel sheet & then EVA kick mats.

Aluminium plank flooring overlay the original steel van chassis, overlay with 1 piece sealed rubber matting flooring.

Aluminium plank ramps, which are easy lift, again overlay with 1 piece none slip rubber matting flooring.

All of our boxes come as standard with a full wall between the horse area/grooms area, with large rear doors incase of an emergency.

Tell us your dream requirements

To be able to build your horsebox, we need to know your requirements. What would you like in your horsebox, do you maybe want a full stallion partition or a smaller partition? Do you want seating in the grooms area, maybe a few cupboards? Do you want upholstered diamond stitch faux leather seating in the cab? The extras list is literally endless!

Once we know your requirements, we may have a chassis in stock to suit, if not we can find you one. Alternatively, we are more than happy to build on a chassis provided by yourself.

Our standard build prices are £17,500 inc vat. This excludes the chassis we will build on and any extras you want on your horsebox. Our standard build spec can be sent over on request.

Your bespoke built horsebox in build

Once we know what you want and we have a chassis you're happy with. Secure your horsebox build with a 10% deposit and we will get building! Depending on what we have in build and the next build slot available, the time frame is around 6-8 weeks. We will keep you up to date throughout every step, we can send you phot updates and you're more than welcome to pop in and see your box in build!

Collect your new horsebox

Once your new horsebox is finished, we will contact you to arrange a collection date! If you do not want to collect or unable, delivery is also available on all orders. We can deliver anywhere in the UK. Delivery charges apply.

All our horseboxes come with a 12 months chassis warranty, and a 12 months build warranty.

Then all is left to do is enjoy your new horsebox!
